I have a laptop with Win 98se and a desktop with win 2000.
Both are equipped with ethernet ports. A local computer
parts store said all I needed was a "cross-over" cable to
connect the two. Is it that simple? Do I need to adjust
settings in some way? Is there a place to get tutorial info
on the subject?
Thanks for your help.
Jim
