Win98SE PCs DHCP

I have a home network using a 2wire DSL wireless router.
All the computers running XP can receive and assign an IP
address from the router dynamically. However none of the
Win98SE PCs can. When I statically assign the inforamtion
to the Win98SE PCs it work fine. I really need the DHCP
portion working though. Can anyone shed some on the
subject?

It should just work if you have your gateway set to your router.

Is it possible the XP machines have captured the entire range of
available addresses by the time the 98SE machines come on line?
