I buyed a DLink DFW-120+ USB network adapter for using in
my laptop with win98 se. I installed it following the
instructions and all seems to be good. The network card
"talks" with access point, it's been shown in "Network"
properties in contol panel, allowing me to set its IP
address, gateway and so on, but doing ipconfig or winipcfg
it's not been shown, and I'm unable to ping the access
point or all the other computer in the network.
What can I do for making it works good?

Another problem, if I turn on the computer with the adapter
plugged in it won't start, it's been freezed at the win98
logo screen. Any help also for this?

Thanks in advance.
