Have network of 2 comps. Network (Belkin 10/100 w/Belkin
router + cable modem)worked fine when both comps were
WIN98. Upgraded to XP on n/w host.

Problem:

When I go to Network Neighborhood on 2nd computer, "Entire
Network" icon takes approx 2 1/2 min to come up and won't
show network. Can't brouse the N/W or hook up N/W printer
to 2nd cmputer thru network (runs WIN98) Host computer in
XP. It can see & read 2nd computer just fine.

Printer is main prob and needs to print from both comps
(Separate rooms in the house) Printer/scanner is in office
w/XP comp.

Using WIN98 on 2nd comp in order to run older stuff that
my wife likes (some of which is no longer avail or
supported)

Tried Google, Belkin, Comcast etc. They all said it's a
configuration problem in Windows

Anyone had this specific problem??

Please help

Thanks - Mike
