If you look at the mapped drive on the Win98 box, does it have a Red X on
it?
By default, the network session stays active for 10 minutes after a
workstation stops its session with the server
In Windows 2000 and above I know that you can set the KeepConn=65536 but not
sure about Win98
net config server /autodisconnect:-1 can be set on the server
