Win98 user unable to logon 2003 domain

I just build new 2003 server as DC and DNS server for my customer with around
25 users, some users still use win98 or win98 v2, when these user try to
logon to 2003 domain server, err msg said" can not find domain controller",
however, I can ping the DC from this pc.

What's the possible problem.

are you using the DSclient for Windows 98 from Microsoft?

I had to put dsclient on any 98 machine I had in the network. The
still don't like each other a whole lot, but it works
