win98 system keeps losing network

my win98 system losses the network & it has to be
restarted to relogin.

The problem usually occurs after the computer has
been idle for 10 - 15 min.

Check the power saving settings, if the system is going into a standby mode
prevent it from doing so by setting those options to "Never". Look in the
Control Panel for your power management options.
