1) Gets disconnected every 5 to 15 mins
2) Needs to reboot the work station before we can log in the server agai

Is there no definate solution to this?

Hi Steven,

What type of connection are you making (ie. LAN, VPN, DialUP)?

You can check to make sure the default domain controller security policy
has "Microsoft network server: digitally sign communications (always)" set
to disabled. Check this for "Microsoft network client" as well.

If this is dialup, make sure the DUN 1.4 is installed. Also if checked,
try unchecking data encrytion, software compression, ip header compression,
and/or reduce the speed of the connection.

Thank you,
Matthew Fresoli
