I need help with port forwarding!

Hi,
Here I am again with my Win98 computer. A have Abyss Web Server running on it. Now the Win98 computer is behind a D-Link router and a DSL Router. I want to make my site available to anybody. It says in the instruction manual to forward port 80 on your router to that computer. The D-Link router is is all set up with the port forwarding but I am having trouble with the DSL router. I enabled port forwarding and when go to the External IP address it asks me to login. After login it shows me the configuration pages. I am using a SpeedStream 4200 DSL Router and a D-Link WBR-1310 wireless router. Could the problem be firewalls or could it be the port forwarding?

Presumably the dlink is there for its wireless capability?

If the dlink is capable of handling the Internet connection with your
isp you can ditch the speedstream or you can keep the setup as it is
but connect the two routers lan port to lan port leaving the wan port
of the dlink disconnected.

If you leave the dlink in, switch off it's dhcp server.

Either way, port forwarding needs to be done only from the router
which connects to the Internet not both.

Regards

Jim.
