Win98 Computers will not to 2000 server

All was working well this morning then all of the sudden
win98 machines cannot access one of the 2000 servers.
All systems that are running xp or 2000 works fine,,,we
have an up to date virus scanner running,,,,,any
suggestions on what this could be
