I have 2 PC that use USB wireless adapter to connect to my
access point for networking. Let say my first computer is
PC A and another is PC B. I share the file in PC A and
want it to be open in PC B. But the problem is i can't
even see my PC A from my PC B network neighborhood. I have
try to ping the PC A to PC B and also PC B to PC A and is
successfully with a replied. no error for ping. I have
try to use run to run the PC A computer but stil the
samething that it cannot find the computer. But if i
share out the PC B file and access from PC A, it will no
problem, i can open PC B file from my PC A. Why? is anyone
know this?

What happens if you turn on both computers, walk away for at least 15
minutes, then try browsing?

Are they BOTH using W98, or is A using, e.g., XP?

Because if the latter is the case, you probably don't have the
permissions set up right. You need an account on the XP machine
identical to the one on W98, and you need to explicitly permit to
that account (not just "Everyone").

My Computer -> Control Panel -> Network -> File and Print Sharing

Also (from Network)
