Win98 cannot connect to resource

HI,

All Win98 machines cannot connect to resource (printers,
shared folders...).
I checked tcp/ip config. All is fine.
I formatted, reinstalled the win98 and no success.
The problem persist.The shared name is less than 12
characters.

What´s wrong?

What kind of network are you operating on? If it's a Domain, you need to log
into the network to use any resource.

You got to give in more details, like the type of network,
exact error message,etc.

You may have forgot to check the file and print sharing
checkbox in Network configuration.
