Is it possible to capture the windows username as an
environment variable?

I'm trying to batch script a mapping to a users home dir
without writing one for each user.

Win2K it's %username, what is it in 98?

thanks

You can do it with remote procedure calls to the logon server if you
use kixtart
http://www.kixtart.org

Kixtart if I can help it. the current loged on user is
stored somewhere - is there a way to get it from the
registry into an environment var?
