Workstations with Win95 and Win98 can not connect to our
Win2K server. When entering \\ServerName into Explorer, I
got message that server is not available. Also I can not
browse network...

I can ping IP address and even resolve server name (i.e.
ping ServerName will ping its IP address).

Client for Microsoft, TCP/IP and file/printer sharing are
set. TCP/IP works for internet access.

Other workstations with WinXP can connect this Win2K server
w/o any problem.

Thanks to help!

I'm having similar trouble except my XP machine can't see the 2000 Server
either. How are you connecting your network? hub ?router? something else?

If you run a simple network win98<-->winXP, you need to add an IPX/SPX
protocol on the win98 machine (assuming you already add a TCP protocol for
your ethernet card).
work fine
