We currently have a Red Hat Linux/Samba domain. All
windows clients (Win2k & XP). Clients can connect, logon,
get network resources etc. We tried to add a win3k server
to the domain which will striclty be used for SUS,
Symantec AV & SQL.
We cannot log on to the domain from the win3k server and
the window clients cannot connect to get their updates. We
can access the internet, map drives & access files/folders
that are on the linux server, from the win3k server but
still this is when we log onto the win3k server locally.
So apparently, the win3k server has access to network
resources on the linux server but no one can gain access
to the win3k server.
The workstations will need access to the winn3k server for
both windows updates and AV definitions and updates. Any
help would appreciate any help.

Jim
