Win2k3 Dual NIC name resolution

I have a Win2k3 server that has two nics. One on an administrative LAN and
it it not configured with a DNS server, the other is on the client facing LAN.

The issue is that on the server itself if you ping the server name it resolves
to the IP address of the Admin LAN. This is an issue in that this server is
a webserver and the site is only bound to the client facing LAN. So if you
are on the server and open IE to http://servername the site fails to load
as the wrong IP address is resolving.

How can I configure the NICs so that the Client facing LAN takes priority over
the Admin LAN?

I've tried a few different things, but nothing has worked.

Any thoughts/pointers would be appreciated.

How do you setup the DNS? Posting the result of ipconfig /all may help.

1. LAN Nic needs to be first in the binding order
Properties of Net'Places-->Advanced from Top Menu-->Advanced Settings from
drop-down menu. Use the "side arrows" to adjust the order

2. Go into the TCP/IP-->DNS Properties of the Admin Nic and set it to not
register itself in DNS

3. Manually remove "rogue" entries from all the DNS Servers and/or WINS
Server.
