I have 1 NIC with a static IP (10.10.1.3) connected to a
switch for the LAN and the 2nd NIC (with static IP
10.10.1.2) connected to aDSL modem via a Linksys VPN
router (static IP 10.10.1.1). I have a static IP from the
ISP provider. When I specify the router (internal IP
10.10.1.1 and the ISP IP as external) as the default
gateway for the 2nd NIC, I get an error message from W2k3
about multiple gateways will not work.... I've tried with
one NIC also; I still get the sam error.

I need some help on specifying the default gateway, the
DNS info.
thanks

If you want to route throught he 2000 box, your LAN subnet must be
different. Why not connect everything through the switch.
