Hi

everytime a new user logs on to a pc for the first time, we get a list of
troubles that require the administrator to log on, do some stuff, then let
the user logon again and all is ok.

i had the idea that if all domain users were added to the Power User
group on each local pc, when they logon they will have enough permissions to
auto configure that pc for the first time.

but it seems impossible to add domain groups to by a member of the local
pc's Power User group!

Should this work?? What am i doing wrong??

Should i not be getting such problems in the first place??

Am i on the wrong track?? where do i go from here??

i'm quite new to Win2k Server, and a complete noob at Profiles/Security.

Thanks

Jado
