I haven't used Win2k Server in a while, since I moved over to Linux, but I
suspect that it doesn't want to pick up an IP from the router since it has a
built-in DHCP server. You might want to try disabling that for starters, or
setting the IP information statically (setting the gateway to the IP of your
router).
