Hi, we have a Win2K Advanced Server problem. My
workstations attempt to connect with Win2K AdvServer, but
get a message that "Boatsurplus is not accessible. You
might not have permission to use this network resource.
Contact the administrator of this server to find out if
you have access permission.

The server is not configured for transactions."

I'm the administrator, and there is an account for both
the device (computers/domain computers), and for the user
(account/administrators). I get a logon sometimes, and
other times are turned away.

Can someone shed some light on why this is happening?
Thanks. Lee

quoted from http://www.ChicagoTech.net
"...not available. The server is not configured for transactions"

Use "net share" command on the shared computer to check share status. If
there is not a share named "IPC$" in the share list, use "net share ipc$"
command to create it.
