Hi,

I have a win2k AD server and a winNT4.0 Domain server,
the NT4.0 crashed, I reinstall the NT4.0 with sp6,
now the win2k AD server network neighborhood cannot access the winNT4.0
server,
also the re-installed NT4.0 has printers shared,
but the win2k AD server only show the old shared printers (printers before I
re-install NT4.0)
and prompted they cannot connect.
(because the win2k AD server shown the shared printer already not exists)

also some client can access the re-installed NT but some cannot,
why, help please.

thanks

berry

If you rebuild a machine and give it the same name as an old one, it
doesn't automatically take the place of the old one (especially if it is a
DC). It is a new install. You need to set everything up as you would with a
new server.
