Win2K & Win2003 Servers

In our current environment in Calgary, we have 7 Win2K
servers, with 1 Domain Controller. We recently purchased
a company in Vancouver, and will be putting a server
there, which will also be a DC. Our consultant, says that
we can't do that - that the '03 server will cause grief,
if combined with win2k servers.
I don't think that I belive him - he wants to do all the
servers? I think he's just trying for more $$$...help me
please?????

Hi,

If you raised your Windows 2003 domain to Windows Server 2003 then Windows
2000 won't be able to participate in this domain as domain controllers.
Still Windows 2000 servers can still be member server.

If you have any kind of Mixed mode domain Windows 2003 and Windows 2000
servers shouldn't have any problem working together...
