Dear all,

Our ex-Administrator told me that the Win2003 SBS must run with DHCP
in order the other services, like Active Directory, Domain, Sharepoint
or else. Is that true?

Actually, we would like to manage who can go online, and limit on
certain application. Do anyone know how to do so? Or, you can
recommend any add-on or specific command at Win2003.

Sorry, it is very basis question.

Thank you.

Benny,
Since you are running SMS, you can simply open up Server Management under
the Start Menu, and click on Computers, then Change Application Settings.
That solves 1/2 of your problem, the other problem you say you have is that
you would like to "restrict" internet access to certain computers. Do you
mean certain users or certain computers? There is a difference. To Restrict
internet access to certain users go into AD and apply the right security
settings, but to restrict internet access to certain computers you can do
that right in Server Management.
