Win2000 driver for conexant SoftK56 fax data modem needed

Does anyone knows how to get the Win2000 driver for PCI conexant SoftK56 FAx
data modem? I did try the generic one, but it does not work well. It leaves
the speacker on while connected with an extreme disturbing noise. (With XP i
do not have any issue). I have tried with the setting, excluding th modem
speacker, and so on, but no success. The comm connects ok but making the
modem loud noise
Can anyone help? even to let me know how to make it work without noise.
