I am having a heck of a time getting some of my users with Non-standard
laptops to connect to my wireless network. We use a 128-bit ASCII key (13
characters) and my standard laptops use an Intel application to manage the
wireless connection. This allows me to easily select 64- or 128-bit key
length. When I try to setup the network on the few laptops that don't have
this utiliy, forcing me to use windows, it lets me type in my 13 character
key, but then it doesn't connect to the network. When I look at the
properties the key appears to be only 8 or so characters. I thought I
changed some setting in windows once that allowed for the 128-bit keys. Any
help?
