WIN ME start up Network disconnect?

After POST, win ME start up disconnects the green LED
network light on my 4 port router. But the broadband DSL
light and TCIP connection works properly.
I think that one of the startup commands disconnect the
LAN light although the WIN ME screen boots up properly.
