I have a notebook computer with Win ME on it that I am
trying to connect through a Lynksys Wireless-G adapter. I
have two XP machines wired in successfuly to the Lynksys
router (they see each other and their shared folders,
etc.) (By the way, I only have a dial up connection to the
internet, if it matters. I'm not trying to share the
internet connection, only the files/folders between
computers.)
When I try to set the network up on the portable with ME
through the Networking wizard, everytime I hit <next>
after the computer name screen, I get a blue screen of
death saying THERE HAS BEEN AN ERROR...PRESS ANY KEY TO
CONTINUE.
This means the portable computer doesn't know there's a
network out there waiting for it....
I have downloaded all updates for ME from the microsoft
update site.

Any thoughts, anyone????
