Have just networked 2 Win ME machines, and a new Sony XP pro sucessfully,
with wireless hub, and Cat 5 between the 2 ME machines.
These are at a local aeroclub office, where for the past years they have
been cancelling the Windows logon everytime they start the ME machines. I
got rid of the logon screen for that no problem, but now with networking
installed, we get the bloody Network logon screen. Everyone has been so
used to cancelling the Win logon screen, they now automatically cancel the
Network logon screen, and then no network. So.....

How do I get rid of the network logon and enable auto logon, have done it
before, but so Long since I have used ME, I cant remember, seem to remember
a reg hack but what and where?

Regards

Neil

Thanks, had a look, but..

That stops the Windows Logon, which I can do, but in the Primary Network
Logon, box I need to have MS Network Logon selected to allow the Win ME
machine to see the network. It is when this is selected, that I get the
logon to MS Networking dialog box appearing at start up. This is the one I
want to remove, or force to logon to the network automatically. If you do
not logon to the network, and just cancel it, it does not see the other
machines, although the other machines can see it??

Cheers

Neil

If you need autologon, you need TweakUI. It will set up an automatic
network login. You can find it at http://www.microsoft.com/download
