NTFS vs FAT 32 has nothing to do with the problem.
What program processes .jpg files on the ME machine? There could be a
problem with that program. What's the name of the task that you have
to end?
Does it make any difference which View option you use to see the files
in the XP folder, e.g. List vs. Details. vs. Thumbnails?
