Win CE connects to Samba but software fails to write data.

I built a samba server to gather data from a Win CE control panel at
work. Manualy I can access the remote drive and copy files to it. When
the control software tries to write to it I get an error "File already
exists" The last time this system worked it wrote the data to a Win
2000 server. After updating the server the panel stopped working hence
the linux system.
