Here's the deal. We have just upgraded to SBS (Small
Business Server) 2003. The win 98SE PC's are being a bit
touchy. We installed the "DS Clients" on all 98SE PC's
but there are still some issues. One PC loses the network
every half hour. They have to reboot this PC and maybe
they can logon and maybe they have to try 3 or 4 times.
This PC controls a printer , so consequently when it goes
off the network people lose the ability to print. Obvious
solution is upgrading 98SE to XP Pro and making the
printer a stand alone network printer. Our company is not
wealthy enough to institute all these changes at once so
this is the reason I am asking if there is a way to boot
the 98SE PC's in the butt so they stay on the network. Any
help is appreciated.
