with built-in wireless?

My XP (laptop) connects to Rogers (cable modem) and I would like my son to
be able to use the win 98 (laptop) to connect with mine and the net?

Your assistance is apprecaited!

You have two options.
1. Ad-Hoc connection to your computer.
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/u...mspx?pf=trueHi
2. Or the most common way it is currently done.
The content of the following links will provide you with a short tutorial
about Wireless; it is short and to the point:
Principles - http://www.anandtech.com/guides/viewfaq.html?i=122
I wrote the page above ages ago. You might ignore the prices, but the
principles are still the same.
Should look like this, http://www.ezlan.net/network/router.jpg
