Win 98 se will not logon to win 2003 server HELP

Hello
win 98 fully updated, tried dsclient no help.
Hotfix fro MS dsclien no help.

PINGS both ways ok.
98 sends request to 2003 server.

But the server will not respond or talk to 98, ar they not
friends??!!!

A ping _is_ "talking to."

You probably have a permissions problem.

Yes I was thinking about a more oipen dialog.
I think you ar right:

When you set up your shares on W2K3, permit them to an account identical
to the one you're using on the W98SE machine -- not just "everyone."
