Win 98 SE linksys WPC54G Card,

Hi All,
I am having problem to install and config the linksys
wireless adapter WPC54G to work with win 98 SE on my
labtop.
First I installed the software came with the adapter,
software installation OK, then I shutdown the laptop and
plug in the WPC54G adapter and boot up my laptop, the
system boot up OK but could not see any site under site
survey tab, it could not detect the Linksys Router
(WTRC54G), I did reconfig the the adater again under
profile tab but still could not get the adapter to detect
the site from Linksys Router under site survey.
So i dicided to uninstall the WPC54G adapter software, and
reinstall the sofware again, but when I tried to reinstall
the adapter software, it always pop up windows with
message such: WPC54G software alread detect in the system,
need to uninstall the software before to install the new
WPC54G software.
I tried to search for thing still left on my computer that
related to linksys WPC54G, but I did not find any, right
now I could not reinstall the WPC54G software at all,
please help me to be able to resolve this problem, and
also the proper way to set the WPC54G to work with Window
98 SE + Linksys Router.
