Hi all,

I have run into a weird problem. At a client's site there's a W2K
server as DC, an NT4 server as mailserver and a 2003 server running a
financial services client/server app.

I have trouble connecting to the W2003 server with a Win 98 SE client.
I can't even ping the 2003 server, it times out. When I initiate a
ping from the server to the 98 ws, no problem, I get a swift reply,
same with connecting to a share on the 98 box from the 2003 server no
problem.

For some unclarified reaon, any connection attempt, either via
Explorer or on TCP/IP level, initiated from the 98 box fails, but any
connectiona attempt from the W2003 server to the 98 box works.

Anyone else ever experienced this and what's a possible cause/solution
for this one ?

Any help is greatly appreciated !
Met vriendelijke groet/Kind Regards,

Erik Schulp
