My Win 98 Machines disconnects from the Win 2003 within
an hour and require a reboot to get back on the server. I
really need help on resolving this. Any ideas would be
great

Thanks

If you don't get a real solution to this you can try following:

If the win 98 clients do not have Win98 SE, then upgrade to Win 98 SE.
Download all critical updates and install on win 98 se clients.
On win 2003 server, increase the account lockout threshold to 15 or higher.
In default domain policy - MS network clients digitally sign communication
always policy
-set it to disabled.

I am not sure that this is the only way to solve the problem or whether this
will solve the problem
for everyone, but I had faced same problem and did not get any solution on
any of the newsgroups.

After doing above, I am not facing the problem since last 2 days. (i.e. on
sat. , 6th dec. and
today, 8th dec. not a single win98 client was disconnected. I just hope and
pray that this
will continue ! )

OK Dumb question, where would I go set those settings?

Also, no actually domain is setup on the server. The
clients are just on a workgroup
