Win 98 Connection to WIn2K Shared Folder

HELP!

I have a network with a W2K machine, a Win XP and a Win
98 machine. I want to have a common sared folder
residing on the W2K machine. This works fine for the Win
XP machine because I can suply the username and password
during the connection. THe problem is with the Win 98
machine. It sees the W2K machine but cannot make the
connection to the shared folder. Every time it tries, I
get a prompt to enter the password only (not the user
name). How do I get around this??

Create a user account on the win98 and win2k computers that have an
identical username/password. Log onto the win98 with this account.
