You seem to be having the same problems I am. Find my message with
the subject `Windows 98SE unexpectedly logs off Windows 2003 standard
server` in this group which described the problems I'm facing, but
this 15 minutes thing is interesting. I know that shares generally
get disconnected from the server after 15 minutes when idle, but in my
case authentication with the W2K3 server was lost while the Win98-SE
client was transferring data.
