XP's Network Setup Wizard sometimes fails to find a working network
card on another computer. That's probably because of minor bugs in
the network card's driver program. Downloading and installing the
latest driver program might help.
In any case, it isn't necessary to run the Wizard. You can make the
network settings manually on Win 98.
