win 2k3 SBS server changing the STATIC gateway address of a win 2k Adv server, Why?

Hello All,
I have a win 2k3 SBS , and a win 2k adv server. Both servers have static ip
info defined, but the win 2k servers gateway address keeps changing to an
old ip. The strange thing is when I unplug the win 2k3 SBS from the network
the 2k Servers gateway stays correct, but if I put the 2k3 sbs back on the
LAN, and reboot the 2k server it gets the incorrect gateway address even
though it is statically defined. Any ideas why this is occurring?

I had to rerun the CEICW on the 2k3SBS server to change the GW ip addresss,
I still don't know why a statically set ip address gets changed.
