Wifi Sniffer

Does anyone know if there is a wifi sniffer that can sniff out PC and Mac
wireless access points. I live in a building where I have a D-Link wireless
router. I can sniff my own and if I were to take my laptop to a larger
building, other wireless routers. There is a guy in my building who has
Airport Wireless for his Mac. He says he can see the SSID on my router, but
I can't see his. I want a sniffer so that I can pick up his signals.

Sniffers are highly chip specific. THey write the code for targets chips.
You then need to find who uses those chips in their product and buy one.
Otehrwise, you're SOL.
