I have officially given up wireless in Linux. Now that that's off my
back, onto the real problem.

I have an internet connection on a wireless network. How can I use an
old WINME box to route internet to my linux? I was thinking use Internet
Connection Sharing, but wasn't sure how that worked or what quality it
was. Can someone tell me how to use this?

thanks,
poly-p man

P.S.

If you want to help me with the wireless, its an RTL8185L/RTL8225, and
I've already used realtek's drivers.

I used to do that on a win98 box. Enable internet connection sharing, and
then tell the linux box to use the win box as gateway.

Have you tried ndiswrapper? If often works if you have the win drivers.
