WiFi connection keeps dropping

Hi,

I connect to the Internet using a 3Com 108Mbps ADSL router. The
landlord keeps the router in their room, which is two concrete walls
away. In addition, they keep it close to their cordless phone.

The problem is that me and my roomie keep losing our WiFi connection.
After that, the only way to reconnect is to restart the router. The
router's WiFi LED is off whenever the connection drops. To clarify, I
lose the WiFi connection, not just Internet.

What could the problem be? Will a connection booster help?
