WiFi and sterility

I have 3 children. For a year and half now, my wife and I have
unsuccessfully atempted to have another child. Finally, I went to the
doc and guess what he says -- my sperm count is WAY LOW. My wife checks
out okay. My doc doesn't understand it and is running additional tests.
But, it just dawned on me that I've been using my laptop with wireless
card for almost 2 years. And it rests right over my crotch. I think
the RF signals may be zapping my sperm.

Anybody else got this problem? Or know something about this?

Don't have that problem...but stranger things have happened. RF works
in mysterious ways. FM doesn't mean frequency modulation... it's
actually F-in Magic.

Entity Steve Applebiter spoke thus:

You should wear a Faraday Chastity Belt, and keep it well grounded at all
times.

Just because it's called a "laptop" doesn't mean that one can't put it on a desk
or table in front of one's self....

The tests with cellular phones causing brain tumors were inconclusive. They run
more power but at 1/3 the frequency.

I seem to recall that within the last year, there was a study
that warned about problems from the -heat- of laptops. Heat to that
area lowers fertility -- the reason that area is outside the body
is to keep it cool.

That's not the right way to have a baby. Your crotch must make
contact with your wife's, not your computer.

It seems that radar guns have been linked to two froms of testicular cancer.
The disproportional number of cases in traffic cops in the US lends credence
to the theory even where medical knowledge cannot. Even though studies were
inconclusive about cellphones and brain tumors, all manufacturers of
cellphones print instructions to inform you that you should use the antenna
whenever using the phone. Children living in close proximity to power lines
have a higher rate of lukemia (sp?) and several other cancers and immune
deficiencies. There was a lawsuit in the mid-90s having to do with
sterility and other problems experienced by microwave technicians working
for one of the larger television providers.

To go OT for a moment: I dunno how old you are, but low sperm count is
linked to colon problems. Had it checked recently? I've read books that
claim fertility is linked to diet. Had a cold or other virus lately? Are
you getting your sleep?

On the bright side, if your laptop is running windows, go to start/programs
choose accessories and your calculator. If your sperm count is 50% of
normal, show your wife the math and tell her you need to do it twice as
often. If 1/3 normal, tell her three times as often - and so on. The lower
your count, the more relaxed and happy you should be

From what I heard, the users did not turn off the transmitter before resting
the gun in their laps. Maybe the transmitters were always on, maybe the
users just didn't know the danger.

Sounds like CYA to me.

^^^^^^^
for future reference, "leukemia"

They also tend to be from lower-than-average-income families. Was this
corrected for?

.... and hope she doesn't know about Usenet or Google Groups. :-)

what make and speed laptop

I have a relatively warm, not hot running laptop
sitting on a wooden butcher cutting board
with two sheets of alum duct taped to the top.
Durring long use it still transfers heat which eventually makes my whole
body hot/flush feeling at times.
Answer the phone and it static/buzzes until I move the laptop 3 feet away .
Wifi card says keep it 8 inches away from your body... sits almost on top of
my leg.

lots of things going on to consider
