What is the best way for me to share a drive on my home computer so I can
access on my work computer through the internet?

The home computer is a win2k3 server. I know I could probably just open up
windows file sharing on the firewall but I don't want any security holes.

Is there any software out there that will simulate this but only allow
access to certain paths I specify with separate account information. That
way if there is a compromise access will be limited?

Thanks for any suggestions.

Two approaches:

a) Use VPN. Functionality is included in Windows Server 2003,
using the RRAS Service. Access your Fileshare in your usual ways.

b) Use Sharepoint Services 3.0. Access your fileshares using a
web browser or using Explorer and WebDAV.

(A) sounds like what I need. Do you know of any good tutorial that explain
how to set this up? Also I don't need 2 nic cards do I?

Google knows everything

http://www.google.com/search?q=setup+rras+vpn

http://www.google.com/search?q=setup+sharepoint+webdav

You do not necesserely need two networks card. It depends on your
setup, though.
