WI-FI PCMCIA card causing Vaio GRX laptop to crash a boot

I recently upgraded a Vaio grx770 with a PEAK PCMCIA Wi-Fi card. When i
reboot with the card in it goes to the blue screen saying Bad pool header.
Ive tried using the utility that came with the card (the utility and driver
are not digitily signed) and letting XP control it, either way the same
happens.

Any ideas....
