Is there a way where I can find out via my router whether anyone (apart from
the two laptops in my house) have been piggybacking on my connection? I have
a suspicion someone may have got hold of my key somehow!!

Check your router's web interface for:
* Log files
* DHCP leases
* Connected MAC addresses

You could try installing ARPWatch, and tracking the MACs that show up.
