wi-fi card hanging/crash xp going into standby.

We have some pheenet.com.tw cards ( WL-11PCIR ) which are based
around the realtek rtl 8180L wi-fi chips.

The card functiosn well, but windows XP has problems when entering
standby
with the link estiblished.

either it

1) Hangs
2) Takes ages but goes to standby
3) Blue screens.

If I disable the card, then it will go to standby without issue.

Any1 seen this problem and know of a solution ?

Have you set the device to let windows turn it off?

Right click on the connection, choose 'Properties'.
On the 'General' tab, click the 'Configure' button.
Select the 'Power Management' tab.
Check the 'Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.'
