Hello,

I get this error message with the ping command:

PING google.com (216.239.37.99) 56(84) bytes of data.
64 bytes from google.com (216.239.37.99): icmp_seq=1 ttl=50 time=117 ms
WARNING: failed to install socket filter

: Protocol not available

64 bytes from google.com (216.239.37.99): icmp_seq=2 ttl=50 time=116 ms

Now, i'm very sure that yesterday i could ping without this warning but
as far as i can remember the only change between yesterday and now is
that i installed F-Prot but i fail to see the link between these two.
So probably i did something else. I must have.

A Google search gave a few hits with exactly the same error but, to my
surprise, nowhere a real answer or a solution.

regards, Jan Hoolwerf
