Why use DHCP server to register DNS clients?

Since the clients in the Windows domain already register themselves
into DNS automatically, is there any reason to check the box on the
Windows 2003 DHCP server that says: "Enable DNS dynamic updates
according to the settings below?"

How about "Discard A and PTR records when lease is deleted?"

Hello MyGposts,

Maybe you have realized sometimes that in the zones on the DNS server you
have multiple ip addresses from one machine name. This can result in conflicts.
One way is to use scavenging or the other is to use the DHCP server to update
the records in DNS.

So, wouldn't that mean that both the server and the client are
updating DNS then?
Does one have priority?
